I'm a creative soul with a strategic brain and I genuinely love what I do.
Why?
Because I like solving problems and helping people.
I find a great sense of purpose in being of service to others.
Over the years, I’ve had a lot of experience in the advertising game, corporate world, and freelance hustle.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Creative Brand Communication from the Vega School of Brand Leadership in 2011.
After university I was a junior copywriter at Ogilvy Jo'burg for 3 years. And was promoted to mid-weight level after just 10 months.
I also spend several years at the e-Learning company, Lobster Ink, where I was promoted from Scriptwriter to Lead Creative after two short years.
My ongoing passion-project is my mental heath startup, Captain Calm, where we teach parents and kids to overcome common problems by teaching the tool and techniques of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy like real-life superpowers.
And now I'm once again the world’s happiest freelancer.
Working with awesome people at companies big and small, both in South Africa and abroad.
